Through our very intentional and personalized approach to teaching and a nurturing school environment that encourages both academic learning and social growth, Currey Ingram gives students the tools to thrive and grow.
Currey Ingram Academy is an exceptional co-ed Junior Kindergarten - 12th grade day and boarding school for students with learning differences. The school, which was founded in 1968, is located on a picturesque 83-acre campus in Brentwood, Tennessee, just miles from downtown Nashville and the Nashville International Airport (BNA). Currey Ingram is committed to providing students with a personalized education that fosters an inclusive and supportive environment. Students with learning differences, such as dyslexia, ADHD, and executive functioning deficits, among other diagnoses, thrive in our small classes and from our research-based approaches. The school's academic approach also integrates adaptive technology, social and emotional learning support and goals, and talented educators to create individualized learning plans for every student. Beyond academics, the school promotes a sense of community through extracurricular activities in arts, athletics, service, and interest-based areas. Our boarding school environment fosters a strong community, allowing students to receive personalized academic support while building meaningful friendships and essential social skills. The residential boarding program provides a nurturing living and learning environment and prepares students for lifelong independence by empowering students and equipping them with the necessary tools and confidence to succeed.
